Q: How much does Referral Key cost?

A: Referral Key is an inexpensive monthly subscription based service. You can try the service for free by joining as a Basic member. Basic membership has limited functionality and is intended to familiarize you with the program and its features. Basic members can set up their profile, send invitations to associates to exchange referrals and can receive up to 3 referrals. Silver Key Membership is just $9.95 per month and allows you to send and receive unlimited referrals, track your referrals to increase reciprocity and allows consumers to rate the quality of your services to build your credibility. Gold Key membership is $19.95 per month. Gold Key members enjoy all the benefits of Silver Key membership. Q: What happens when I send an invitation to an associate to exchange referrals?

A: Associates receive a personalized email invitation from you asking them if they would like to accept your invitation to exchange referrals with you. Since many of the people you send invitations to know and trust you, there is a strong likelihood they will accept your invitations. The invitation sends a clear message that you are serious about exchanging referrals with your associate, and that help strengthen and solidify your bond with them. Once a referral associate accepts your invitation to exchange referrals, they are walked through a brief overview and are able to exchange referrals with you in just minutes. When the opportunity arises to refer business, the user simply logs on, includes a brief note about the referral, provides the referrals contact information, and Referral Key takes care of the rest by emailing the contact information of the person being referred and logging the referral in both the sender's and recipient's account. The result is a web-enabled closed loop where you now have a timely, qualified lead from a trusted associate and a much higher probability of converting these leads into actual revenue. Every step, from initiating a referral to following up is automatically tracked with our service.

Q: Are the associates I choose to exchange referrals with subject to any fees?

A: No. Associates who agree to exchange referrals with you are not subject to any fees unless they want to establish their own referral community.

Q: How many Referral Associates can I invite?

A: There is no limit to the amount of Associates you wish to invite.

Q: I invited an associate but I can not send them a referral lead?

A: An associates must first "accept" your invitation before you can send them a referral lead. You can determine the status of an invitation by selecting "My Referral Associates". Under each associates name it will indicate their status. If the status is "invited", the associate has not yet accepted your invitation. If the status is "declined" the associate has declined your offer to exchange referrals.

Q: Who can view my Profile?

A: Your profile is used to showcase your expertise for business professionals seeking to establish new referral relationships with you and for consumers seeking the services you provide. How you set your viewing preferences will dictate who can see your profile. First, log into your account. Select "My Profile". Select "Modify" in the "Profile Viewing Options" panel. By checking "Yes" next to "make profile viewable" you are allowing the entire Referral Key community to see your profile and contact information.

Q: How do I make changes to my Profile?

A: Profile changes can be made at any time. Simply log into your account and select "My Profile". Select "Modify" on the panels which you wish to alter. After making any changes to a panel select "Save" to keep the changes you have made.

Q: How do I change my email address and/or password?

A: Log into your account. Select "My Account". Select "Modify" in the "Login Information" panel. Make the desired changes and then select "Save".

Q: What are Referral Offers and Campaigns?

A: Referral Campaigns are a benefit exclusive to Gold Key Members. Referral Campaigns allow you to send referral rewards to people (i.e. $25 for every new customer you refer) who send you referrals. Referral Key tracks all referrals you receive to ensure people are rewarded for every referral they send you.

Q: Is it possible to establish multiple accounts?

A: Yes, it is possible for one person to establish multiple accounts however, you would be required to purchase a new membership for each entity you wished to create, and you must have a different email address for each membership.

Q: How do upgrade my membership level?

A: Upgrading is easy. Simply select "Upgrade". Select your desired membership level and follow the prompts to complete the upgrade.

Q: How do I cancel my membership?

A: To cancel your membership, log into your account. Select "My Account". Select "Modify" in the "Login Information" panel. From here either select "Click Here" next to "Cancel My Account" or you can modify your membership level within the same panel.
