Counseling Formats: One-on-One Counseling – is designed for teens and adults struggling through life’s difficult times. Brian’s expertise can guide you when you need a trained clinical professional to walk alongside you through the darkness of your life’s journey in order to facilitate hope and a healthy manner of living out your calling. Family Counseling – is designed for families with adolescents and teens struggling with addiction, relationship, or school issues to face their difficulties in the context of their family environment. Since the whole family is affected when one or more of its members are acting out inappropriately, the entire family needs to support each individual member and heal from the wounds it has endured. Couples Counseling – is structured to support and help the committed or married couple to heal in spite of the wounds each person brings to the relationship. If your relationship could be better or is about to fall apart then see what couples counseling can do for you and your relationship! Group Counseling – is a supportive atmosphere within the context of other recovering people and a trained clinical counselor. Members of the group attend meetings either in person or via teleconference, and are able to hear the stories and experiences of others who are journeying together on the road of recovery. Meetings are confidential for all members and are facilitated by a trained professional so everyone is afforded the opportunity to speak, listen and know they are not alone. Telephone Counseling – is specifically for those seeking help, but are unable to see a clinician in person due to distance, scheduling, anonymity issues, or a disability. If a specialized counselor or group is not located in your area to help you heal through the pain of addiction or your life’s struggles then this opportunity can benefit you. Telephone counseling is a confidential alternative to face-to-face counseling where you will receive a clinical assessment in order to develop the best treatment plan and goals for you. Please call today to begin your journey to healing through New Horizons Counseling, Where Hope is on The Horizon. Workshops and Retreats – New Horizons Counseling offers Workshops and Retreats specializing in the healing of adolescents, teens, adults, couples and families. To hear about any future events please contact us and we will email you with any available opportunities. If your organization is in need of an energetic speaker for an upcoming workshop or retreat, please contact us for available dates and times.
