Miller Management & Consulting Services, Inc Mr. Larry Miller – President & Founder Founded: 1993 in Lake Mary, Florida Prior to launching my consulting business in March of 1993, I enjoyed an exciting +20-year career as a successful, profitable, and innovative, multi-unit retailer. I advanced my career in convenience retail by focusing my learning on the details of Operations, the strategies of Marketing, and by studying habits of the Consumers while they shopped in the stores. Since that time as a retailer, I have worked extensively with many other retailers, of all sizes, helping them increase profitability, finding ways to increase staff efficiency, increase sales and by adding new profit centers. Adding foodservice of a High Quality, with a focus on “Fresh”, has been at the forefront of the major assignments I have tackled lately! Inclusion of Quality Foodservice into Convenience Retail is the Key to the Future of the Channel! Additionally, I have worked with many Supplier Companies helping them understand and better serve the C-store channel with new and innovative products. In this capacity, I have worked with equipment manufacturers, as well as, two national "Category Captain" food manufacturers. I have been blessed, to have clients as diverse as McDonald’s, & 7-Eleven, as well as, Duke Manufacturing Company, and Ruiz Foods, Inc., to name a few, and to assist these companies with projects where my experience, creativity, and full understanding of convenience marketing & operations have paid dividends to the clients, that far exceeded the fees involved. I am also active as a member of the Board of Directors of Plaid Pantry Stores a retailer in Oregon with 110 stores, and have been a member of that Board since 1998, which keeps me intimately involved in “Key Industry Issues”. My goal as a small business owner, is to help my clients see, find, or create new and unique profit opportunities, & to rethink how to maximize ROI, assist with implementation, and repay with multiples of the fees as ROI on my services.
