About My Business:

Celebrated drum virtuoso Pat Gesualdo is known for pioneering the Healing Art of Drum Therapy.® He is also the founder of the non-profit organization D.A.D. (Drums and Disabilities). New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Administration, and the New Jersey Department of Education Commissioner helped Gesualdo launch D.A.D. in 2004, as a special education program in New York City and New Jersey school systems. Psychologists, doctors, neuroscientists, special needs therapists, and teachers endorse and use D.A.D.’s pioneering Drum Therapy techniques, in schools, hospitals, mental health facilities, and community centers in over 15 countries. Pat was invited to the White House to meet the President, in an effort to bring his pioneering Drum Therapy techniques to help wounded troops throughout the United States. Under President Obama, the U.S. Department of State brought Pat to the West Bank region of Israel, to help disabled Israeli and Palestinian children with his groundbreaking techniques of Drum Therapy and the D.A.D. Program. In 2014, Governor Christie signed the groundbreaking disability Legislation into law that Pat wrote, to further help disabled children and adults. N.J. is the first State to add such additional protection from bullying and discrimination for the disabled population. In an extremely rare bipartisan effort, Pat’s Legislation passed the N.J. Senate 34-0, and the N.J. Assembly 74-0. Senators and Congressman throughout the United States also call on Pat to help write disability Legislation, and to advise how to help protect disabled and children and adults in their states. As a professional drummer, Pat fronts his prog/metal project Iceland, which debuted in the #9 position on the U.S. Radio Charts. Some of Pat’s friends join him in Iceland, including Iconic metal guitarist Michael Romeo of Symphony X, eminent guitarist Metal Mike Chlasciak of Rob Halford’s band Halford, and industry session vocalist Chandler Mogel, among others. Legendary television/radio host Eddie Trunk, of VH-1’s “That Metal Show” also helped Pat with a video promotion for his Iceland project.
