At Food for Thin, we all love food and we all love to eat. Our goal is to provide good, whole food that is tasty, filling, and healthy. But it's not just about making the food and selling it. We want to give you the tools to build a healthy, sustainable lifestyle for yourself and your family. That's why we also provide cooking classes and consulting services to help develop the best course of action for you. Our founder, Tanuja, created these dishes based on her own transition to a healthier lifestyle. "For many years my staple Friday night dinner (and reward for a tiring week) was an entire medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and jalapenos. I'd wash that down with a Coke and follow it up with some ice cream. I never imagined I could go from a size 10 to a size 0 just by making simple changes in my diet. I also realized I was exercising hard - not exercising smart; so I had to change that as well." - Tanuja (founder of Food for Thin) We don't use added processed (table) sugar or butter. All of our desserts are flourless, don't contain any added sugar, are dairy-free and gluten-free. We work with organic ingredients like honey, coconut nectar, tofu, grapeseed oil, almond flour and coconut flour. Over the course of your experience with us, we'll explain the benefits of using such ingredients and teach you how to experiment with substitutions to fit your dietary needs.
