About My Business:

Keyfund is a youth-led charity aimed at helping young people explore and achieve their full potential by doing the things they want to do, where and when they want to do them. Young people aged 11-25 have the opportunity to design, plan and deliver their own projects, which can be anything they want to do as long as it is safe, legal and achievable. They decide what they want to do, prepare a budget and pitch their idea to a live panel in order to secure the resources they need to complete the project. Throughout the process the young people are developing 12 keyfund skills and our unique skills wheel allows them to track their personal development throughout. Participants can repeat this process through 4 stages, pitching for more resources as the projects become more complex. In stages 3 and 4, as well as personal development the projects must also include community benefit, meaning the Keyfund process reaches a much wider audience. Keyfund is looking to expand activity across the UK and we have developed a unique social licensing model to make the roll out easier.
