I am one of the first mentors within The Ideas Foundation.
The Ideas Foundation goes beyond nurturing young people’s creativity; it helps them explore enterprise and employment in the creative industries and connects them with the industry.
The current program is named 'i am creative'. It is an online arena that enables young people to work on actual creative briefs from real brands with the help of a creative professional who will mentor them online to help them develop their ideas. The young person leaves the site with a new perspective on creativity, some real experience of working on real briefs from real brands, and a portfolio they can use to help them gain work experience and employment.
