About My Business:

Is your relationship getting you down? Are there areas of your life you want to understand better and change? Learn about self-defeating behaviors that get in your way. Therapy helps you craft a healthy relationship with yourself and others as well as meaningful life choices. Drawing upon mindfulness and psychodynamic practices, this work increases consciousness of internal dynamics an obstacles to growth. Having worked 7 years in management consulting prior to my doctoral psychology practice, I know how important personal development is to success With couples, I provide communication skills training, personality style assessment (MBTI), and real-time coaching to work through conflict in the relationship (Gottman; Bader & Pearson's developmental model). With groups, I provide interpersonal process facilitation aimed at increasing success in work and social relationships. I trained in the trauma track at UCSF's Dept. of Psychiatry (ranked 13th nationwide) and at the contemporary psychodynamic Marina Counseling Center. My postdoctoral work is supervised by Dr. Gary Stolzoff, director of the Center for Family Issues and UCSF Clinical Professor (PSY6841)
