Pat is a customer-focused Senior IT Business Analyst and independent consultant who works with medium to large organizations. She is committed to understanding what the customer really needs, then creating and delivering practical solutions.
Her background includes over 20 years of diversified business experience, including 10 as an IT consultant. She has worked with both public and private organizations in a range of sectors, including utilities (gas, water and electrical), financial services, telecommunications, provincial and state government, health care, software development and restaurant.
Key strengths include a practical, customer-centric approach, research and analysis skills, written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Pat holds an MBA (specializing in Marketing) from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a Certificate in Computing Studies from Simon Fraser University and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University. She is a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and maintains her standing with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC).
After many years working as a generalist Business Analyst, Pat has chosen to specialize in Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, as it enables her to apply her passion for understanding customers and delivering superior service. She also loves developing and delivering training, and her goal is to build her experience and obtain formal instructor credentials as a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
