Clients I'm Seeking:

The majority of our clients fit into the "lifestyle" category (retail, culinary, hospitality, etc.). That being said, we're always looking for new clients who have a story to tell, or something special/unique to create buzz about.

About My Business:

The Whole Enchilada is kicking up the public relations field with a refreshing amount of excitement and creativity. Kimberly Genkin, formally of Neff Associates, and Dawn E. Warden, former Senior & Food Editor of Main Line Today magazine, have joined forces to create a Public Relations firm that does it all. From traditional PR, new media and copywriting to branding, event planning and launches—the firm excels in, well, the whole enchilada. If you’re ready to kick it up a notch, as Emeril Lagasse would say, The Whole Enchilada PR is here to bring the heat—in Philadelphia and beyond. Kim's years at the agency and beyond, have been studded with success as she's secured hundreds of placements in local magazines, newspapers and blogs as well as on TV and radio. Through strategic PR and social media, Kim also led the launches of four restaurants and two retail stores while at the agency. Kim played an integral role in planning and executing events for multiple clients, from media nights and concierge cocktail parties to a fall fashion event and getting a chef to cook at the James Beard House. Kim has formed wonderful relationships with the press. She specializes in culinary PR, but also has a great deal of experience working with retail, hospitality, B2B clients and more. Experience, enthusiasm and ambition are what Kim brings to The Whole Enchilada PR. There's no one better to compliment Kim's experience than Dawn. After all, who knows how to pitch the media better, than someone who was on the receiving end of the pitching for nearly seven years? Dawn's background as a caterer, food writer and critic, along with her climb up the editorial ladder—from associate to senior editor in four years—has afforded her a unique vantage point. Whether planning feature packages on anything from the latest culinary trends to the region's movers and shakers to Going Green, or contributing photo and layout ideas and networking within the community, Dawn always had something cooking. Solid writing skills, the ability to identify “a good story,” compile relevant information on a wide variety of topics or people, and then dispense it to readers in a clear, succinct way, have solidified her reputation as a reliable, vibrant voice. Her natural passion for life, particularly food, boundless energy for generating ideas, and an affinity for the more eclectic, innovative and inspiring individuals and businesses have earned her the title of Pied Piper. The only person she surprised by moving into a career in Public Relations was herself. Now that Genkin and Warden have embarked on this exciting venture, there's no doubt in either of their minds, that this is exactly where they—and you should be. A hybrid of youth and experience, urban and suburban, bride-to-be and mother-of-five, we give you... ...The Whole Enchilada
