I work with a variety of companies and small businesses and administrate their 401(k) Plans, Group Benefits and Executive Solutions. The ideal referral would be a business owner(s) that are looking to find ways to save money but not sacrifice benefits to their employees.

About My Business:

 

In my practice, we take a holistic approach to our clients. Our intent is to develop a relationship with our clients; not a transaction. We take a very broad look at our clients situation. Being the fact that there is no, "cookie-cutter" solution that works for every client, we must develop a customized solution that works for the individual client and their own unique situation. Often times when a business starts, the owner(s) are so engrossed in growing their company and wearing the numerous, "hats" that is required, they often over-look minor details in their infrastructure. To simply put it, there is not enough hours in a day to accomplish all the things that you must when you are a business owner. With this in mind, we take a look at their Qualified Plans (401(k), Simple IRA, SEP IRA, etc..etc..) and see if they are using the plan to their fullest capability. We also analyze what exactly they are paying in fees and the performance of the plan itself. Often times, employers do not fully understand what true amount they are paying for their plan due to the confusion. We break down the fees for them and often times, suggest ways that they can either improve the efficiency of the plan and save money while not sacrificing the quality of the plan given to the employees. We also analyze the Group Benefits ( Group Health, Group Life, Group Disability ) and make suggestions in regard to these benefits. Due to the recent legislation changes in regard to Health Care, many employers do not understand the new laws and how they effect them. Our job is to educate the employers, make suggestions on how they can save money in an ever rising health care cost world and help them retain employees. We then analyze the clients Succession Planning, Estate Planning and Executive Solutions. There have been some cases where we have examined all of the above mentioned and have found nothing to be inefficient. In this rare case, we tell the employer to keep on doing what it is that they are doing and we keep in touch with them. This situation, as I stated, is rare. But in most cases, we are able to save the employer a substantial amount of money and give to them the peace of mind that there is someone there for them to turn to.
