About My Business:


Campbell is a Director with PPB Advisory, a national strategic and financial advisory practice with over 300 professional staff Australia wide. Campbell has close to 20 years’ experience in mining, infrastructure, construction and corporate finance. He has advised extensively on matters concerning economic loss arising from contract disputes, business interruption claims, international business and asset valuations, project finance and acquisition due diligence. Campbell first joined Rio Tinto (then CRA) in the early ‘90’s and worked on exploration and project evaluation projects, including feasibility and trial mining studies. Later, Campbell moved into operational roles and gained experience in mine construction projects and open cut and underground mining operations. Campbell was appointed Resident Mine Manager at one of Rio Tinto’s open cut mining operations in Western Australia in 2002 and later became Regional Operations Manager where he was responsible for mining, processing, rail and port operations. Campbell has worked on a number of projects throughout Australia and overseas and has genuine experience across a wide range of commodities, including: iron ore, coal, copper, gold, base metals, nickel, uranium, diamonds and industrial minerals. Campbell has undertaken postgraduate studies in accounting, economics and finance at Melbourne Business School and New York University where he was awarded the Rupert Murdoch Fellowship. In 2007, Campbell joined PPB Advisory where he heads up the resources practice group. His principal focus is as an advisor to Australian and international mining and energy companies involved in large, complex transactions and disputes.
