Darko De Jan is a musician with own performing style and original material. The experience gained across Europe before landing in Dubai is reflected in his sound that spans the deep and percussive European rhythms through to the soaring melodic “hands in the air” progressive. Started his career in the 90's as a resident and guest DJ at Macedonia's clubs and events. Invitations abroad soon followed De Jan to spread his sound to an International crowd. Brilliantly crafting rhythms with soaring house vocals and melodies, he has a passion for the dance floor and the music that surrounds it that goes beyond infectious. Whenever ripping it up in the mix, Darko De Jan just cannot allow his audience to sit still. To go along with his unique, pumping sound, mixing skills are also what he stands for and making the crowd go wild, delivering a unique sound cultivated through a life-long love of music. A variety of timeless and amusing grooves, each set is a journey of sound scapes and thought provoking beats, controlled, looped and manipulated with technical precision. Today, based Dubai, Darko De Jan is heading up the glamorous Armani Prive Nightclub as the head resident DJ and music director, ensuring the clubs musical direction is at the forefront of the scene. At the same time, he is one of the resident DJ’s at Allure by Cipriani – a club whose musical soundtrack is set to be the driving force of Abu Dhabi’s music scene and high-end club culture. Earlier – 2009, De Jan had his residency at Dubai’s Palm Island based state-of-the-art nightclub – Sanctuary Nightclub, as a part of the pre-opening team and head resident DJ. Till present, Darko De Jan host, supported and played alongside following world class DJ’s - Jay Lumen, Prok & Fitch, Leeroy Thornhill, Erick Morillo, Laurent Wolf, Steve Angello, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, Sharam, Sandy Rivera, Felix Da Housecat, Paul Jackson, Andre Pulse, Roger Sanchez, Faithless, Danny Tenaglia, Steve Mac, Armand Van Helden, David Amo & Julio Navas, Martin Ten Velden, Eddy Good, Sasha & John Digweed, Nic Fanciulli, Little Louie Vega, Mark Brown, Randall Jones, Alex Seda, Lissat & Voltax, DJ PP, Manuel De La Mare, Kiko Navarro, The Shapeshifters, David Tort, Norman Doray, Dr. Kucho, Pirupa, Sultan, Robert Miles, Denise The Menace, Bob Sinclair... Applying his creativity and skills in the studio, Darko De Jan started with producing house music mid 2009. A focus of productions filled with warm percussive elements and melodic sounds, fused with a twisted tech influence - a truly cutting edge sound which has quickly spread through club dance - floors across the world. His first production, a remix was released November 2009 and achieved no.1 EP on and and was listed in some prolific DJs top 10 tracks and playlists. His following production was another remix for Micah & Angie Coombes released on Ruhnsong Records. 2010 was a year for De Jan to extend his production on a higher level, signing his tracks and remixes for one of best house labels on the music scene. “Tufi” was released in September on the CR2 Records Ibiza 2010 Exclusives album that quickly hit the Top100 Tech House chart on The same success with CR2 followed in March 2011, when he had his track “Bang” – part of CR2 Records Miami WMC Compilation, hitting the charts on almost every radio station and again between the best Top100 House Tracks on, DJ Tunes… Speaking for Miami WMC 2011, De Jan had his first EP on Adapt Recordings, where his original mix of “Pinokio” remixed from Jorgensen and Marc Fisher, took part in Adapt’s 2011 WMC Compilation and various DJ/Radio charts (Including the radio show of Andi Durrant on Capital FM, UK and Greg Stainer “Dance Anthems” on Radio 1). Marc Fisher's remix on "Pinokio" had massive success soaring into few other compilations - NU:Skool (Best of tech house) and again Ibiza 2011 Compilation on Tenor Recordings. His next releases are coming end of March - an EP on Hotfingers, with 2 banging tunes followed by huge support from the biggest DJ/Producer names on the music scene. First track "That Trumpet” (including remixes from Chris Drifter & Socio Robots) and the second one "Irish Coffee" alongside Dave Spritz. Coming next is another CR2 Records Ibiza 2011 Compilation release, where Darko De Jan alongside Greg Stainer & Marga Sol created their stoning tune "Feel Your Body". The same track soared immediately in the Top100 House chart and achieved success between the first 50 best selling tracks. Summer of 2011 is a period when EP's and remixes are being prepared on: EP on BDR (2 originals along remix from Lojak); EP on WazzUp Records with massive remixes (Belocca, Greg Stainer, Patrik Carrera & DJ Danila); EP on Nervous NYC (collab with Dave Spritz and remix from Davide Vario); collab with Davide Vario & NDKj; collab with Alexey Samotarev on Soundtribe Records followed by remix from Steve Valentine; remixes for Greg Stainer & Oscar P on Stained Music; a remix for Muzzaik & Davide Vario on WazzUp Records; Remix for Fisher & Fiebak on Soda Records...
