(EIN #35-2331592) Our mission is to educate the public on child abuse symptoms, intervention, prevention, statistics, reporting, and helping victims locate the proper resources necessary to achieve a full recovery. Dreamcatchers for Abused Children has enjoyed a significant growth within the last two-years with many top-named sponsors representing us. Last year, Dreamcatchers provided services and resources to the community reaching over 100,000 members; an outstanding record of achievement. Dreamcatchers staff has doubled in an effort to effectively administer new campaigns, as well as manage the organization's growing responsibilities. We have over 15 different networking sites and Dreamcatchers was nominated one of the "Top 50" Early Childhood Blogs--Children's Rights (by: Ultra and was also accepted into the National Assocation of Professional Women (NAPW). THE PASO DIGITAL FILM FESTIVAL is currently promoting our book & organization through Mr. Benford Standley. Dreamcatchers successfully won the CHASE Charity Contest (JP Morgan Chase Bank) in July, 2010 and was awarded $20K. Dreamcatcher BlogTalk Radio Show successfully launched at the beginning of 2010. Our show runs Monday--Friday (11pm--12pm EST) and is hosted by Donna Kshir & Laurie Ann Smith: ****************** ABOUT THE FOUNDER: I founded my organization in 2007 after the man who molested my daughter was released from prison ~ I needed a positive avenue to vent my anger & try to prevent other families from having to go through the same anguish that my family endured. I was shocked to learn how many parents did not know the child abuse statistics, signs or symptoms or how to check the National Sex Offender Registry. I have made it my mission to try to educate the public on this increasing epidemic plaguing our nation. I am also a writer, editor & co-author with best-selling Barnes & Noble Author, Donna M. Kshir. We have published six books together and are currently working on continuing our series. You can visit our online bookstore at: I am also a full-time college student at SC4 (St. Clair College, Port Huron). I am working on obtaining my degree in CRIMINAL JUSTICE--LAW ENFORCEMENT. ********************************************** What we do: We rely heavily on public, business and individual donations will help us create an outreach programs, continue on our mission, educate the public and utilize resources and leadership through: * Parenting Education * Child Abuse Awareness & Education * Abduction Prevention * Child Sexual Abuse Prevention * Anger Management for Parents * Coloring books on Sexual Abuse Prevention * Michigan Child Protection Law * Internet Safety * Child Abuse Signs & Symptoms * Child Abuse Reporting * Child Abuse Intervention * Child Abuse Recovery * Child Abuse Prevention * Provide State Laws * Provide support for individuals (victims & survivors) * Training & free information for service providers * Community education & outreach * Advocacy * Research & evaluation * Other prevention measures Coordinate awareness education: * Provide support for individuals (victims & survivors) * Training & free information for service providers * Community education & outreach * Advocacy * Research & evaluation * Other prevention measures Working one on one with: * Law Enforcement Officials * National Missing & Exploited Children * Sex Offender Registry Officials * Amber Alert * Other Child Abuse Agencies * Public Organizations **************************************** Books I've written with Donna M.
