About My Business:
I am an entrepreneur, and I hate marketing.
If you’re an entrepreneur who hates marketing too, we’re going to get along fantastically.
The problem is that you need marketing. You have a business you enjoy, and you know that you need to sell all your products and fill up your client list from here to next month. You need that income so you never have to think twice when your kids want to take up the cello or start taekwondo lessons. You need it so you can take a vacation whenever you want and forget about work for awhile.
You need marketing. (And good writing!)
But no one can make you like it.
That’s all right with me. I’ve hated marketing for so long that I have an honorary degree in it. We can hate the pants off marketing together, and meanwhile, I’ll show you my fancy trick for getting marketing done without feeling like you have to like it.
The trick is that we’re going to do it really fast.
Half of the reason we hate marketing is that it takes so much time and effort. So instead of messing around with possible ROIs of this and that, you and I will talk about exactly what you want to achieve and come up with a marketing plan that you can execute quickly.
This means you only have to do the hated marketing for a very short time before you go back to basking in the success, funds, and general wellbeing that marketing brings your business.
Warning: I am a specialist in unconventional, non-boring marketing. My clients are savvy, clever women entrepreneurs with businesses they love, and they have this thing about not selling their soul to the devil just to make sales.
So I come up with marketing ideas and materials that fit them and their businesses perfectly. Many of them are so far outside the box that the box is a mere speck in the distance.
This means that it is entirely possible that sometimes you secretly have fun with your marketing. You may even like it. Just a little.
Don’t worry. Your secret’s safe with me.
