About My Business:

Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois Quad City Region SERVICED BY JOHN T ROGERS – LUBRICATION CONSULTANT BASED IN Rock Island, Ill PHONE: 937-244-4507 TOLL FREE FAX: 877-343-8905 Email: SUMMARY: WHAT I DO: As a lubrication consultant I consult with your maintenance personnel on equipment lubrication issues to find the best way to increase productivity, lower maintenance cost and increase profits. HOW DO I DO IT: For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in lubrication consulting and sales. Starting, with a product originally designed to lubricate torpedo motors (Gum Blitz). And now with a manufacturer of high performance lubricants and fuel improvers. HOW IT WORKS: J & S enterprises offers over 100 products that are specifically designed for several market segments which range from agriculture, construction, fleet and fuel, industrial manufacturing, pupil transportation, food processing, mining and quarrying, United States Military, electric utilities, and many others. WHY IT WORKS: We help businesses to develop and implement proper lubrication methods and programs by offering lubrication our customers. This commitment becomes reality because J & S Enterprises will help you achieve the lowest possible annual lubrication expense – reduce energy consumption – reduce waste lubricants – reduce maintenance labor hours – extend the service life of valuable capital equipment – extend drain intervals – minimize unplanned downtime – improve maintenance schedules – manage continuous improvement programs – qualify for carbon reduction programs. WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT: The backbone of many premium quality lubricants is our utilization of pharmaceutical Clean base fluids. lubricants have enhanced properties for lubricity, oxidation, stability, and thermal durability. Our proprietary additives work to protect your equipment and to provide maximum protections against load, speed, temperature, and environmental stresses. Oil and fuel analysis programs provide an in-depth detailed analysis to identify potential problems before they cause equipment downtime. Our laboratories evaluate each sample to determine problems and report them so corrective actions can be taken. We use an independent laboratory for oil analysis and testing. WHAT OTHERS SAY: John Rogers saved my business hundreds of man hours and dollars by suggesting one of his new lubricants to clean and lubricate printing mechanisms on older electronic POS systems. Before using we would have to remove the printer and soak it in a solution to free up the gum deposits then re-lubricate and re-assemble. This procedure took many man hours and expensive degreasing solution to complete. R. Keith Wilson – Branch Manager – Sweda International – Cincinnati, Ohio John made a call on us and introduced this new lubricant product called DZL-LENE X/L 10 fuel improver. After some hesitation to try something new we finally decided to make a small order and treat the fuel in a couple of units. We tested it first without treatment on both long and short routes. Then ran them again with DZL-LENE X/L 10. The results were amazing. We now treat our diesel bulk fuel storage tanks with showing a seven to ten percent ROI accounting for increased fuel efficiency adding thousands to our bottom line. Frank Casey – Maintenance Supervisor – All Road Shipping LLC – Waterloo, Iowa John Rogers lubrication consultant called on my business in early 2015. He asked if we were having any lubrication issues. To his inquiry our answer was in the positive. One of our units that make components for the construction trade was dropping a bearing about every four to six months. John asked if he could have a sample of the grease we were using to send to his technical response team in Dallas, TX. After receiving the analysis from the teating facility in Fort Worth, it was determined that the grease we were using was not recommended by the machine manufacturer and did not have the right viscosity and ISO. After contacting the machine manufacturer to find the right grease specifications they suggested we use Paragon 3000 grease as it proved through their testing to be the best product for their unit. Paragon 3000 out- performed all other major grease manufacturers. We now use TRC Brand products throughout our plant. Brandon Whitmore – Plant Manager – ABC Block and Stone – Rockford, IL
