MY WORK EXPERIENCE
A- Currently, from Feb 1997: Martinsa – Fadesa Group (A Coruña & Madrid, Spain) Property & Real Estate Group, one of the biggest Spanish & European Groups, result of the fusion in 2007 between Fadesa Inmobiliaria, S.A. and Martinsa, S.A.
1. Managing Director/Member of the Board of its Portuguese subsidiaries, Ulepim Promoções Imobiliárias S.A. (May 98 - Oct 03) & Fadesa Portugal S.A. (Oct 03 - Apr 11). Currently, advisor for the Portuguese business & assets.
- Ulepim was the first international subsidiary of Fadesa when began its international expansion, in a 55/45 partnership with José de Mello Group, one of the main Portuguese economic groups.
In October 2003, Fadesa became the unique shareholder of the company.
It developed 4 projects, 2 of them currently underway, with a total of 3.100 housing, 2 hotels & 2 shopping centres and a buildable area of almost 500.000 sq.m.
o Manage all the business areas of the Company;
o Make & implement the Strategic & Business Plan;
o Look for land, develop it, sell the resultants plots or build on them & sell finished products;
o Hire, manage & oversee the outsourced services such as design, construction, accounting, legal, marketing & advertising, etc.;
o Negotiate with authorities, banks, suppliers, customers, employees, etc.;
o Report to the Chairman of the Board in Spain.
o Develop and consolidate the subsidiary as a reference in the Portuguese market;
o Revalue Company’s GAV from 12,3 to 91,5 million €;
o License rural land to build almost 2500 housing in a 7 years period, build 577 in 2,5 and sell 80% of them for 50 million € in 4;
o Create and develop innovative marketing campaigns as a lease-purchase model in a 2 y. period applied to 130 units, gaining a monthly income of 40 thousand €;
o Realize strategic partnership with one of the most recognized Portuguese Real Estate
Companies to develop one of the biggest properties at Portugal;
o Gain the trust of the Portuguese market.
