Mark B. Morse, principal of the The Law Office of Mark B. Morse has twenty-five years of experience as a member of both the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bars. He has practiced law in virtually all forums in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including handling cases before the Rhode Island Supreme Court, Massachusetts Appeals Court, the superior and district trial courts in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and the federal district and bankruptcy courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Additionally, Mark has written and argued appeals to the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a member of the United States Supreme Court. Mark concentrates his practice by primarily assisting individuals and small businesses. He maintains a litigation oriented firm, and works toward achieving successful and speedy results for those who are injured, facing domestic problems, and engaged in commercial disputes. He has participated in leading cases in the State of Rhode Island including in the area of medical malpractice, construction disputes, and insurance subrogation. Mark graduated from the University of Rhode Island (1980) and the New England School of Law (1983) where he served as Research Editor of the New England Law Review. Upon graduation, Mark served as a law clerk to the Rhode Island trial court bench for the superior, family, and district court judiciary. Currently, Mark serves on the Board of Governors for the Rhode Island Association for Justice (formerly RI Trial Lawyers Association), is its Past President (2001-2002) and is the Editor for its journal, the RI Association for Justice Newsletter. He also served on the Board of Governors for American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA),was on its Membership Committee, and is a member of its Elections Committee. Mark is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and serves on its governing Executive Committee, He is a member of the Superior Court Bench Bar Committee, and was its chairperson. He also chaired the Subcommittee to review and revise the Rhode Island Civil Rules of Procedure enacted June 15, 2006. He is a frequent lecturer, and a member of the RI Bar Association Family Court Bench Bar Committee, the Animal Law Committee, and the Federal Bench Bar Committee. He is legal counsel to Defenders of Animals, The Friends of the Music Mansion, and The Feinstein Foundations, He is a member of the Providence Lions Club, the Masons, and Touro Fraternal Association. Mark is married with three children.
