Clients I'm Seeking:

We are seeking clients that are looking for a reputable company to help them through the entire process of storm damage claims. Even before the claim is filed, we like to look at the damage to see if there is enough storm damage to warrant a claim. If a claim is filed and the insurance company decides not to pay the claim, the event is still counted as if you had filed a claim! Our niche is working with the insured and their insurance company to make sure the insured receives a fair settlement with their claim. We handle everything even before a claim is filed, when the claim is filed and after the work is done. We have specialized professionals to repair all of the damage to your home or business. (Residential & Commercial Roofing, Gutters. Siding. Windows, Drywall, Paint, Concrete Work, Rebuilds, Water & Fire Damage Repair, Garage Doors, Masonry and much more)

About My Business:

Norick & Heightley isn't just your typical "Roofing & Construction" Company. We specialize in the entire Claims Process and we use the same software (Xactimate) that 90% of the insurance adjusters and companies use to prepare their estimates. Xactimate is a construction pricing software / database that most major insurance companies use to write up claims. Chances are very great your claim was written up on this software. Within the software are price list that are updated monthly and very specific to different regions of the country. Xactimate is the language that adjusters speak. Frequently your contractor and adjuster will need to reconcile their estimates. When both use Xactimate this process is significantly easier. That is why we place such an importance at Norick & Heightley to use Xactimate to prepare our estimates. We have found that many times the adjuster's are so over-loaded with claims they are required to scope each day that they accidentally leave out some of the most important and costly items on their estimates. It's not that they don't do a good job; it's just that they don't have the time they need to prepare the proper estimate for the insureds. If possible, we prefer to meet with the adjuster on behalf of the homeowner and that helps make the adjuster's job a little easier because we already have the estimate, scope of damages, and roof measured and sketched before the adjuster ever shows up. YOU ONLY SAVE YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY MONEY BY GOING WITH THE CHEAPEST BID The insurance industry has changed a lot over the years and the insured doesn't usually understand that by hiring a company that gives them the lowest bid only saves the insurance company money. The homeowner thinks that they will get to keep the extra money saved by going with the lowest bidder and are very upset when they find out otherwise. When you submit an invoice that is lower than what the adjuster calculated, this will lower the amount of recoverable depreciation you will later be paid. Also, the majority of the time, the contractor who is doing your job cheaper will use cheaper materials and labor and will compromise the integrity of the job you receive.
