Clients I'm Seeking:

We serve anyone over the age of 18 who is seeking in-home care or "wherever home may be!" In addition we can staff AFH, ALC, ILC or even a skilled nursing/hospital if needed.

About My Business:

Local Office: Mark and I are a husband and wife team, we actually live in Marysville, and our local office of Right at Home which serves all of Snohomish County and parts of North King County, is in Everett. We are backed by a national company that has been around for 15 years and have over 250 offices nationwide including Brazil, China and the United Kingdom. Care Team: We are very pleased with our current care team and have selected them very carefully. After our initial in-person interview, we ask the question, “would I want this person to take care of my mom or dad?” If we can answer “yes, then and only yes” do we continue the hiring process. We ask for 2 professional references for all our potential team members. Our Certified Nursing Assistants must have attended an accredited program with 85 hours of training, passed the skills and written exam, and complete continuing education units annually. Our Home Care Aides must have a minimum of 1 year experience and have completed an accredited training. Both types of caregivers spend additional time in our in office pre-hire training. In addition, it is mandatory to do an annual seven year background check, a drug screen, and we rely heavily on our own personal gut feeling(s) of the hiring team. Care: We provide two major service categories, companion care and personal care. This is so that if a client hires us we can continue to do care and keep mom or dad at home longer. We have added a nurse delegator to our team so that our caregivers can do more specific tasks and encourage wellness longer rather than having the additional expenditure of a nurse visit continuously. Many of our caregivers have been trained in diabetes, parkinsons, dementia care and other specialties. Our first consultation is free and we typically will come to the home to do a basic safety check, make suggestions as well as get a first-hand observation of the client to make a care plan that fits the need of the client/family. We like to spend time with the client’s family getting to know the family and what mom or dad enjoys doing so that we can match up our caregiver to that person. For example, if dad likes to talk then we would find a very social caregiver. After visiting with your loved one, I typically have a caregiver in mind that might work for your family. One of our differentiators is that we always introduce our caregivers to the family at the first shift. That way there can be an assimilation time for the caregiver and mom. Contact: We hope that our initial email conversation has given you some basic information about us. Both Mark’s and my passion is to help others and give back to our community. This is one of the ways we can do so by helping other’s parents stay at home, no matter where home is… Please feel free to call us at the number below and we can certainly call you back. We have a 24 hour on-call service that can get us at a moment’s notice. Our office hours are from 9:00to 5:00 Monday to Friday and our office staff can answer your questions as well. 425-290-1714 or email at Thanks for your consideration, Victoria Johnston Care Manager
